The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good Morning and Happy Father’s Day! Besides a few showers this morning passing by south and west of Green Bay, we should see a quiet day with mostly cloudy to overcast skies. Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s and low 70s this afternoon.
Tonight, expect clearing skies with lows in the middle to upper 50s.
Tomorrow will actually stay mostly sunny for much of the day, just mentioning a chance for a brief passing t-shower up north mid day. Highs will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s, and it will be muggy as well.
We do need to watch for a weakening line of broken showers and storms to move through the area for the evening and overnight hours on Monday. Most models push this toward the later evening and overnight which would limit the strong to severe potential. If this moves through during the early evening hours, a few strong storms west of the Fox Valley are possible. Hail up to 1″ and strong winds would be the main threat there.
Morning clouds for Tuesday give way to afternoon sunshine. Highs will get even warmer into the low to middle 80s! Another wave of rain and storms will impact the southern part of our viewing area late Tuesday, so most of the day is dry. Pop up t-storm chances for Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures stay in the 80s.
