PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WFRV) – Two people were injured in a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Plymouth after a dump truck reportedly crashed into a turning car in an intersection.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office reported that dispatchers received multiple 911 calls around 1:13 p.m. Tuesday concerning a two-vehicle crash in Plymouth at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Road J.

Initial investigations reportedly indicate that a car going north on 57 was turning onto County Road J when a dump truck going south on 57 hit the turning vehicle.
The driver of the car, identified as an 84-year-old Elkhart Lake woman, was seriously injured and taken from the scene via Theda Star. The dump truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by Orange Cross Ambulance.
