NIAGARA, Wis. (WFRV) – An 18-year-old man from southeastern Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the scene of a UTV crash in Marinette County on Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:45 p.m. on June 7, deputies with the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office say they were notified of a single UTV crash off Hobart Lane in the Town of Niagara.
An initial investigation indicated that an 18-year-old from Menomonee Falls, later identified as Gabriel N. Avila-Neuheisel, was navigating a dirt trail on private property when he lost control and rolled over.

Deputies noted that Avila-Neuheisel was allegedly not wearing a helmet or seatbelt and was thrown from the UTV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
